The Museum will be open again on Wednesday 11th March 2026.

We have a busy programme of events lined up for 2026.  By signing up to our newsletter below, you can stay up to date with all our activities.

Our history and collections are at the heart of what we do. They tell the important stories of the people who worked here and what life was like. As the only steam driven brickworks in the UK, our museum is Accredited and holds collections recognised as being of national importance.

The Museum offers an exciting range of Educational workshops supporting the Schools National Curriculum and a wealth of experience working with people of all ages and abilities.  We are ready to welcome you to the museum and we are taking bookings for School and group visits.

However you choose to support us, you’ll be helping ensure future generations can enjoy this unique look into our industrial past.  You can support The Brickworks in a number of ways including, volunteering, donating, sponsorship and becoming an annual member of The Brickworks.
