We are excited to announce we have been awarded a grant of £79,000 by The National Lottery Heritage Fund for our Connecting Communities project.

The project aims to reach out to our neighbouring communities in Whiteley and Fareham. As part of the work we will be exploring holding new events, creating more community engagement opportunities and improving our big event space. The project will run for the year. At the same time we will also be addressing our longer-term strategic aims including reviewing both our Business Plan and Audience Development plan.

This work will help ensure the future of the museum and locate it more securely within its local community. We are very grateful to The National Lottery Heritage Fund for their continuing support. The Connecting Communities project has been made possible thanks to National Lottery players.
