Children’s Clay Fairy Door Workshop

In this engaging, interactive workshop children will be shown how to create their own clay fairy or pixie door and decorate them with our specialist glazes. Items will be fired in the kiln after the event and we will contact you when they are ready to collect (normally three weeks after the event). Here’s what you need to know:

This is a fun clay workshop lasting aprroximately two hours, for ages 4-16 of all abilities. Everything you need is provided including tuition from our wonderful volunteers.

We will guide children to create their very own fairy doors in clay, decorate them using our tools and stamps and paint them with our special glazes.

£20 ticket price includes:-

Entry to The Brickworks Museum for 1 adult and 1 child.

Tools and materials for 1 child to make a fairy door, supported by their adult.

All materials and tools.

Glazes and firing.

Additional children can be added to the experience for £10 – please book a space for each child attending. Under 4s can come for free but they cannot make their own door (unless booked).

Parents will need to stay with the children during the event. Your ticket includes entry to The Brickworks Museum – after your craft session explore the museum, play in our play areas or grab a coffee from our brand new cafe.
