Family Day and Fun Dog Show

Family-friendly fun at the Brickworks Museum returns in May with our family day and fun dog show. One of the highlights of the year,  watch as seemingly hundreds of pups compete in the Dog Show – every single one of them is a good boy or girl. Inside the Brickworks machinery will be under steam and our miniature railway will be giving rides around the track.

Here is the listing and timings of the Fun Dog Show:

11.30  Best Young Dog or Bitch any breed – 2 years of age or under.

12.00  Best Bitch any breed or age.

12.30  Best Male Dog any breed or age.

1.30    Best Junior Handler – any breed – handler to be 14 years or under.

2.00    Best Veteran Dog or Bitch – eight years of age or over.

2.30    Open Class – any breed or age – dog or bitch.

Certificates to 5^th place in each class and some prizes.

Entry fee for two classes in the Dog Show is included in entry fee to the main event; other classes after that £2 a dog.

Bring the family, bring the dog and join us for our annual early summer craft fair and dog show.

*Students and adults over 65, students must have a valid ID Card

Those with annual membership and visitors aged 4 and under come in for free.

Train rides and Children’s Craft Activities carry a small extra charge that goes towards the upkeep of the railway and the Museum.
