Gift Aid

As an independent museum we rely on our visitors to enable us to remain open and restore our buildings.

Under the Gift Aid scheme, you have the choice of 2 entry tickets:

  • Gift Aid admission
  • Standard admission

The Brickworks Museum offers Gift Aid on entry and the differences in prices Between Gift Aid and Standard entry are shown above. It is entirely your choice which ticket you choose.

Gift Aid admission includes a 10% or greater voluntary donation and enables us to reclaim tax on the whole amount paid, an extra 25%, a significant boost to our funds to preserve these buildings.

An individual admission to one of our events with Gift Aid costs £1.00 more than the standard charge of £9.50. The museum can reclaim 25% of the entire ticket price back from HMRC, so the total benefit of Gift Aid per adult to the museum on event days is £3.62.

Accessibility

The museum is an old industrial building and the floors can be uneven. We have a lift to the first floor, blue badge parking and accessible toilets.

There are full details in our access statement. If you have any concerns or questions, or you have any additional accessibility needs that we can support you with during your visit, please phone us in advance on 01489 576 248.

Dogs

If you are looking for a dog friendly day out The Brickworks Museum is a very dog friendly attraction. You are welcome to take dogs into most of the exhibits as it is a dog friendly museum.

We ask that you:

  • keep them under control and on their lead
  • clear up any accidents
  • ensure that you are respectful of other visitors who may not share your love for dogs

Parking at the museum

There is a large free car park available on site including 4 blue badge spaces.
