DESCRIPTION:Click here to book! \n  \nWe are delighted to welcome The Brick People back to the Museum for a fifth year of running brilliant brick-based events using LEGO® bricks. \nOn Weds 8th and Thurs 9th April as well as all the fun of the museum you can find the models and mini-figures hidden around the site and see the display of models made from LEGO®. Enjoy the free Lego play areas AND add a LEGO® Dot mosaic tile to the wall. \nThe miniature trains will be running on Thursday 9th April. \n10am – 4pm each day – pre-book to choose your slot. Walk-ins from 1pm only. \nOur dog and child friendly museum also features two children’s play areas\, on-site café and a working vintage arcade. \nYou will also get 125 years of brick history\, and the chance to wander around our museum and this is ALL included in your Event admission fee. \nYou do need to book an entrance time ticket but you stay as long as you like. Most visits last 1-2 hours. \n  \n

Join us for our unique event on 26th April 2026.\nThe event will run from 11am – 4pm\nWe will have a selection of Craft & Gift Stalls\, Children’s Activities and Play Areas\, Blacksmith\, Buses\, Miniature Train Rides and more!\n\nOur dog-friendly Museum with its two play areas\, working vintage arcade and 125 years of brick history is included in your admission fee.\n\nTraction Engines and other vehicles\nTrailer Rides – pulled by a Traction Engine\nHeritage Bus from Sarisbury Green and Swanwick Station and return\nTrain Rides (small extra charge)\nInside -Magician\nCraft & Gift Stalls\n\n\nAnd of course all the usual goings-on;\n\nBrickworks Museum with working machinery\,\ndisplays and collections\,\nVintage Slot Machines\,\nBook Room\,\nChildren’s Play Area\,\nCafé with delicious goods!\n\n\n\n\nEvent Day Admission Charges 2026\nTicket prices below are for Museum in Steam and Steam Up Sunday events and are available to buy in person at the museum – upgrade your ticket to an Annual Membership ticket and visit as many times as you would like for 12 months (including our Steam events). DESCRIPTION:  \n \nOur Popular Beer Festival has now sold out. \n\nTickets have now all been sold.\n£14 per ticket to include a souvenir glass and programme and YOUR FIRST BEER FREE!\nOver 20+ Real ales\, Craft beers and Ciders\nLive entertainment & food\nMuseum entry is also included in the ticket price\nHeritage bus service available to and from Swanwick station to the Museum\n\nPlease take time to read our T&C’s: \n\nThis is a strictly ticket only event. There is a strict museum policy that prohibits smoking or vaping within the building complex. Only adults (over 18) will be admitted into this event\, please don’t bring children. Be prepared to show ID if asked. Only alcohol bought at the event to be consumed on site. Dogs are not permitted in the main events room – this is for their safety as much as others.\nTickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable unless cancelled by the venue.\nPlease note food and Beer (apart from the first token) are not included in the ticket price\n\n

DESCRIPTION:BRICK\n \n  \nIntroducing our new open art exhibition for 2026:  \nBRICK  \nSunday 21st June 2026 – Sunday 6th September 2026  \nShed 5 Exhibition Space  \nThe Brickworks Museum  \n  \nBricks are all around us. What do bricks mean to you? We would love to create an inviting and inspiring exhibition to celebrate this theme which is central to our museum. Submissions on this theme for our exhibition will be accepted in any media for display this summer\, here at The Brickworks Museum. This can include drawing\, painting\, printing\, textile\, sculpture\, photography\, abstract\, realism or technical; or surprise us! This is open to professional\, semi-professional or amateur artists. We’d love to see all your entries in whichever style you choose.   \n  \nThere are three categories for entries; adult\, children up to and including age 10 years and children aged 11-17 years old. Work will be by selection of a panel of independent judges and one prize in each category will be awarded by people’s vote on Thursday 2nd September 2026.  \n  \nWant to be inspired? We are opening our doors to potential exhibitors on Wednesday 15th April and Thursday 30th April for a special price of £5 to come to The Brickworks and look at our collection. Please let the front of house staff know you would like the Artist price for reduced entry.   \n  \n  \nAdult competition:  \nA hamper prize is awarded to one artist for a piece that the public vote for. This prize will be announced on Thursday 2nd September.  \n  \nChildren’s competition:  \nThe children’s exhibition will be open to those aged 17 and under. The two categories are 1.) up to age 11 and 2.) age 12 to 17. A winner will be chosen in each category by public vote. All 2D entries selected for the Open Exhibition must be in suitable frames with mirror plates attached no larger than A1 when framed/mounted.
