The Brickworks Museum is a great place to visit on Father’s Day, and accompanied fathers receive free entry to the museum on Sunday 16 June.

Bring along your dad, grandad or special person to explore the only remaining Victorian brick factory in Britain. He can enjoy going back in time, visiting our room reconstructions, glimpsing life from the 1900’s to 1970’s and playing on the valuable collection of vintage penny arcade machines.

He will be amazed at the sheer size of the Victorian brick kiln and will enjoy a bird’s eye view of the fueling floor using our newly opened walkway and interpretation. It will certainly give him an idea of the scale of brickmaking that took place on this site – at the peak of its productivity the factory produced 20 million bricks a year.

If you really want to treat someone special for Father’s Day why not book a special afternoon tea at our onsite café. Packages are available to book in advance here.

The museum opens at 11am and closes at 4pm, with last entry at 3pm.

We look forward to making your Father’s Day a special one.
