- General information
All proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales are used to support our charitable purposes.
- Opening times
All features, exhibits and events are subject to availability. Please ensure you have checked our website before your visit to confirm availability and are aware of any issues on site.
We reserve the right to change opening times, prices, validity of ticket duration and availability of all features, exhibits and events without notice.
Opening times are 11am to 4pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from April to November. Please check the website for updated information.
- Ticket terms and conditions
Once purchased, tickets (including event tickets, standard admission tickets and any other tickets) cannot generally be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
Gift aided tickets are subject to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) regulations and are therefore not eligible for a refund.
Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
Tickets must not be sold or resold and are non-transferrable.
The management reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason.
Admission for children under 5 is free. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
The operation of the steam-driven machinery is subject to its mechanical reliability and operational availability. The Brickworks Museum reserves the right to change or modify the programme as circumstances and conditions dictate without prior notice.
In the event of extreme weather conditions or Force Majeure, all or substantial parts of any special event may be cancelled or postponed. In this case we reserve the right to deem that tickets and or consequential loss will not be subject to reimbursement.
- Promotions
All vouchers/tickets and offers must be redeemed before the expiry date shown.
Promotional offers and vouchers cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other offers.
Tickets cannot be exchanged and are non-transferable and can only be redeemed by the named winner or voucher holder.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.
Promotional offers and vouchers cannot be sold or re-sold.
Promotional offers or vouchers that have been lost or stolen, cannot be replaced.
- Group Visits
Group visits must be booked by phone/email at least 2 weeks in advance of the visit. We cannot guarantee to provide a guided tour if Group visits arrive without pre-booking.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- General Conditions of Admission
Visitors are not permitted to climb on exhibits other than those provided in designated areas, such as the children’s play area.
Visitors must ensure that all personal belongings are kept with them.
The Brickworks Museum will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of possessions on the premises.
Due to licensing restrictions, alcohol cannot be brought onto and consumed on Museum grounds.
Photographs taken inside the Museum are for personal use only. Photographs taken inside the Museum may not be used for commercial purposes without prior arrangement and may be subject to a licensing fee. Please contact info@thebrickworksmuseum.org for more information.
Visitors may be photographed or filmed at the Brickworks Museum, and these images may be used for promotion. If you do not wish to be photographed for this purpose you must make this clear immediately on arrival to our reception team.
We reserve the right to cancel, amend, to curtail or abandon any activity, event or to close the Museum or site without notice. This right is reserved without liability to pay any person compensation or damages whatsoever.
In addition, visitors should be cautious of the following:
There is uneven ground on parts of the site and grass areas can be slippery when wet.
The Museum site, buildings and interiors can be dusty.
Some areas of our museum have low lighting and visitors should take additional care.
