Autumn Steam Up & Halloween Event

October 27th  – 11am – 4pm

One of our favourite events of the year – Autumn at the ‘works celebrates the traditional changing of the seasons, The site will be decorated for Halloween, the traction engines will be on display and there will be stalls and spooky crafts in our genuinely haunted museum.

Steam Enthusiasts

  • A number of full-size steam Traction Engines and Road Rollers dating from
  • miniature traction engines
  • Working demonstration of wood/log sawing using a saw bench dating from around early
  • Tabletop displays of smaller steam driven engines and equipment
  • Brickworks working machinery will be in steam

Car and engine enthusiasts

  • Marenghi Fairground Organ built 1903 and Paris – Mechanical fairground organ
  • Collection of Barn Engines during Victorian and Edwardian periods.
  • Collection of Victorian bicycles
  • Collection of early/vintage tractors
  • Several iconic military vehicles
  • Iconic period Rolls Royce saloon car
