Wheels at the 'works! This August we are celebrating everything on wheels – with buses and cars in the courtyard, and trains on the rails.

Choo Choo! Come and ride the rails at our annual day dedicated to trains. Ride the miniature railway and explore displays based on the narrow-gauge railway and model train layouts as well.

One of our favourite events of the year – Autumn at the ‘works celebrates the traditional changing of the seasons when the brickmakers completed their summertime brickmaking and prepared for the winter months.

The Museum’s Christmas steam event  – see the site shining in the glow of Christmas lights and decorations to begin the festive period; shop at the craft market and find out about Christmas’ past in our Victorian cottage display.
